The Most Memorable Moments Of Pilgrims On The Camino De Santiago
The most memorable moments of pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago The Camino de...
Doing the Camino de Santiago with people your age, combining fun and adventure, and with the peace of mind of having everything organized by the No. 1 Company on the Camino, since we are endorsed by Viajeros Canallas, will make your trip an unforgettable experience.
You will meet people from all over Spain and, based on our experience, many of them will go from being strangers to friends or even family.
“Brutal, it has been the best trip of my life”, “The Camino de Santiago in a group has changed my life”, “It has been a long time since I had such a good time” or “I have travel companions who have become friends”, are some of the phrases we have received from young people who have done the Camino with us.
Without a doubt, it is an experience that you have to live at least once in your life.
And because we are young and we love to enjoy ourselves:
Walking the Camino de Santiago is a personal challenge, and if you add the opportunity to do it in a group, it undoubtedly becomes something magical.
Here is a small sample of some of the trips we have made so far:
El primer día, por la tarde, recibiremos al grupo en el albergue que os enviaremos los días previos. Después, haremos una reunión en la que el equipo de Guide to the Camino de Santiago os daremos toda la información y detalles que tenéis que tener en cuenta para que este viaje sea inolvidable. Por la noche, tendremos la primera cena de grupo en la que podréis conoceros todos mejor. ¿Preparados? ¡Comienza la aventura!
The time has come to take the first steps of this adventure. This first stage is not very difficult, it has some unevenness but the terrain is gentle. The beauty of the landscapes of the most rural part of Galicia stands out. This route crosses meadows, forests and small villages. It crosses medieval bridges and waterways. At the end of the stage, Portomarín, a beautiful town, welcomes us with its steps over the arches of the old bridge.
This second stage does not present any great difficulty either; it leaves from Portomarín crossing the Belesar Reservoir and following the course along paths close to the road. It crosses forests, rural landscapes, with small villages. We will pass through Castromaior, a village known for its Romanesque church and its historical remains, until we reach our destination: Palas de Rei.
This third stage is the longest and most beautiful in equal parts. It offers the opportunity to experience the natural and cultural beauty of Galicia. This route passes through villages and paths with slopes until reaching Melide, a town famous for its gastronomy, especially for octopus. It is a highly recommended stop to rest and try it.
The final stretch is a more demanding climb that leads to the beautiful village of Ribadiso de Baixo.
We are facing the penultimate stage to reach Santiago. This fourth stage begins in Ribadiso and crosses the municipality of Arzúa, known for its famous cheese, a gastronomic speciality of the area. Along the way, we will pass through beautiful green fields and groves. After walking along paths very close to the road, we will reach Pedrouzo. We are almost there to reach the finish line.
We are starting the last stage of this adventure and the most exciting one, because it marks the end of the Camino de Santiago, of that challenge that we all set ourselves and that we will fulfill.
From Pedrouzo we will continue the path passing through villages such as Lavacolla and, just 5 kilometres from reaching Plaza del Obradoiro, we will find Monte do Gozo, which is undoubtedly an impressive place to reflect and enjoy that first visual contact with the Cathedral of Santiago.
Congratulations, we are very close to the end of the challenge.
